GP and out-of-hours service
Your GP is your first point of call when you are ill or injured but don't need immediate hospital treatment.
To find and register with your nearest GP use the 'Find Your Nearest' search tool on NHS Brighton and Hove CCG's website.
When your GP surgery is closed call the NHS 111* helpline to be referred to the out-of-hours service.
Out-of-hours appointments run throughout the night, from 6pm to 8am, 7 days a week, at a clinic based at the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton. If you need help and can't get to the clinic, the service can even send a doctor out to you at home if necessary.
*111 is free to call from landlines and mobiles.
